Ted Frank, Director of the Center for Class Action Fairness at CEI, discusses the pending suit against Uber to reclassify drivers as employees rather than independent contractors. Frank asserts that a ruling in the plaintiff’s favor would cripple the ride-sharing business model but offer a lucrative payout for the Boston lawyer spearheading the suit.
